미국의 NBC News에서 한국의 시위 모습을 이렇게 올려놓은 걸 보았다.
이렇게 보도한것이야 그렇다고 치고…
나는 사실 이 보도를 접하는 사람들의 반응이 정말 궁금했다.
몇개를 뽑아보면 다음과 같았다.
This is what we’re going to have to do in this country to get rid of trump if the electoral college doesn’t do it first or if he is not impeached for his abuse of power scandals and amid all other personal and business scandals he’s got going.
Now that is a real protest! America will never be like that because people are too content in front of their computer or phone screens.
This is what happens when the masses are educated and stays informed. The result is a true democracy created for the people and maintained by the people. Not the corporations who corrupt our politicians. America could learn a LOT from the South Korean people.
When people protest in America, police show up in riot gear and the media brands them as thugs. See: Occupy Wall Street.
아주 흥미로운 것은,
사람들이 다들 몇년후에 미국에서 이런 일이 일어날 것이라는 것.
미국 사람들은 이렇게 못할 것이라는 것
이 두가지의 의견이 아주 많이 올라와 있다는 것이었다.
과연 미국에서도 이런 일이 일어나게 될까…
